My Story
The truth is…
I have never dreamed of being a Celebrant!
In my 20s, my only certainty in life was that I would never get married. No doubt about it!
I used to think “why do I need a piece of paper telling me that I have to stick together through life with the person I love?” At that time, in my perspective, marriage was just that. And it didn’t make sense, because I strongly believed that the decision of being fully committed to someone, was mine only.
Everything changed the moment I met that person, the one who would later become my husband. I genuinely felt that getting married was the right thing to do: something that we both wanted to do. Because with the right person… you just know!
We had chosen one another, deep within our hearts, and it just felt right. Getting married was not about the piece of paper, but the natural desire to express our excitement, letting the whole world know about the amazing gifts that we had found within each other.
On these premises, our wedding day was about celebrating our love story and marking our choice in a meaningful way, bringing our loved ones together and sharing the joy of having found one another in this life.
Becoming a Celebrant came naturally.
I knew there were other couples out there who would see things the same way as I did. And it just felt right to get the word out and let them know that there’s so much more to celebrating love than a cold, boring and impersonal service; with so many significant and creative ways to add in that personal touch, for a warm, welcoming, emotional and truly significant celebration of marriage.
And I’ve made it my mission to celebrate the love of two people in the ways that feel most personal to them, in line with their core values and in full respect of all cultures and beliefs.
This is TWO!
A journey started by chance, turned into a professional full-time job by choice, where my primary care is for your celebration to be absolutely everything you could possibly imagine.
I got married in 2013 and have been a celebrant since 2015, creating and leading over 370 ceremonies so far, while continuously investing in my professional training and personal development, to keep up to date and elevate the quality of my services.
Now, I would love to hear YOUR story!
