Love and relationships are somehow similar to knots.

Like knots, relationships require two pieces perfectly fitted together and the bond that is created needs to be maintained over time. But when carefully entwined within each other, two ropes become one and hold twice the weight.

I created this beautiful ritual for a ceremony on the beach, for which the leitmotif was a nautical fisherman’s rope, to symbolize the strength of pure love and how in a truly loving and strong relationship happines is doubled and struggles are halved.
